Exploration company Kirkstone Metals has successfully closed a private placement, raising gross proceeds of CAD $2 million. The funds are earmarked to accelerate the company's uranium exploration activities within Saskatchewan's prolific Athabasca Basin.

Financing Details and Use of Proceeds

The financing was structured around the issuance of 10 million units at a price of $0.20 per unit. Each unit comprises one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. A full warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share at an exercise price of $1.00 for a period of two years from the closing date.

Approximately 3.24 million of the units issued are immediately free-trading in Canada. The remaining shares and any shares issued upon warrant exercise are subject to a hold period lasting four months and one day, expiring on August 3, 2026.

Primary allocation of the new capital will be directed toward the 2026 exploration cycle at the Key Lake Road Uranium Project in northern Saskatchewan. The company has already applied for permits to conduct drilling and induced polarization (IP) geophysical surveys at the site. Work programs include 6.2 line-kilometers of IP surveying and the preparation of up to 30 drill pads.

Focus on Key Lake Road Project Geology

Exploration efforts will concentrate on the DD and Highway zones, where historical data has indicated anomalous uranium mineralization. The project is situated within the geologically significant Wollaston-Mudjatik Transition Zone, an area renowned for hosting high-grade uranium deposits.

In a related development aimed at broadening its investor base, Kirkstone Metals has enhanced its market presence. The company's shares have recently commenced trading on the U.S. OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker symbol KSMCF. This move is intended to improve accessibility and liquidity for investors based in the United States.

The completion of this financing provides Kirkstone Metals with the necessary resources to advance its fieldwork and testing programs at a key asset located in one of North America's most important uranium districts.
