Max Power Mining is advancing to a detailed scientific analysis phase following successful drilling at its Bracken project in Saskatchewan. The focus has expanded beyond two promising natural hydrogen zones to include an unexpected economic catalyst: the noble gas helium. This development could significantly reshape the commercial outlook for the company's entire North American exploration portfolio.

Financial Backing and Upcoming Operational Milestones

The explorer is well-funded for its upcoming program, having recently secured $20.5 million in a capital raise. This financing ensures the execution of key operational milestones in the second quarter. A primary objective is deploying service facilities to determine the precise composition of mixed gases at the Bracken site.

Concurrently, management anticipates receiving the interpretation of a 3D seismic survey for the Lawson area within the next two to three weeks. This data is critical for understanding reservoir geometry and validating new drilling targets, such as the recently identified "Lawson Southwest" prospect. With 325 kilometers separating the primary Bracken and Lawson sites, the company is developing a hydrogen project of notable geographical scale across its leased territory, which exceeds 1.3 million hectares.

Scientific Collaboration to Quantify Potential

To accurately quantify the potential of recent discoveries, Max Power Mining has initiated a broad collaboration with academic institutions. Experts from the University of Regina and the Colorado School of Mines are currently analyzing rock samples and flow dynamics from the Bracken drill hole. These evaluations aim to produce the first reliable metrics concerning the genesis, migration, and producibility of the gases.

This scientific review underscores that helium, as a valuable by-product, could substantially enhance the project's economics. Similar to by-product metals in traditional mining, the noble gas provides an additional financial buffer. This assessment is supported by helium's historical peak prices and prior testing at the Lawson location, where concentrations as high as 8.7% were recorded.

Corporate Governance and Shareholder Meeting

Alongside operational progress, corporate governance is coming into focus. At the Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 17, shareholders will vote on a new shareholder rights plan. This measure is designed to protect the board from unsolicited takeover attempts for the next three years, ensuring that any potential offers must account for the company's full value.
