Market Context and Strategic Timing

This new contract effectively converts a memorandum of understanding signed in February 2025 into an active, operational project. The partnership is unfolding within a favorable regulatory environment. The Japanese government has set an ambitious target to deploy over 10,000 Level 4 autonomous vehicles by 2030. Concurrently, major automotive players in the region, including Nissan, are accelerating their own plans for autonomous mobility services. Technical Collaboration and Product Focus

The collaboration will center on two primary development streams for advanced hazard detection. The core technology involves stereoscopic camera systems that fuse visible light with thermal infrared imaging. This hardware foundation supports AI-powered segmentation of restricted zones and provides real-time alerts for road obstacles, with performance designed to be reliable across diverse lighting and weather conditions.
