Exploration Update: Maxus Mining Reports Promising Assay Results from Quarry Antimony
18.03.2026 - 06:01:13 | boerse-global.de
Maxus Mining has released a new set of assay findings from its 2025 field program at the Quarry Antimony Property, located in British Columbia. The data, published on March 16, confirms the presence of polymetallic mineralization containing lead, zinc, and silver, providing critical new information for the company's ongoing exploration campaign.
Interpreting the Geochemical Data
The latest results stem from 36 samples collected during the autumn of 2025 within the Omineca Mining District. Seven of these samples displayed significant enrichment of multiple elements. Two sandstone float samples taken from the property's northeastern corner were particularly notable, with assays returning grades of up to 2.38% lead and 4.39% zinc. These samples exhibit mineralization typical of quartz-galena veins.
A clear geological picture is emerging from the analysis. The geochemical data indicates a structurally controlled polymetallic vein system, trending east-northeast to west-southwest, situated south of the historic Beveley Showing. A mineralized shear zone extends for at least 250 meters to the southwest, while the broader mineralization trend continues for over three kilometers.
Strategic Planning and Market Context
The company's exploration team is now integrating these new assay results with historical drill data to construct a detailed 3D geological model. This work aims to guide cost-effective follow-up programs and define precise drilling targets, particularly around the Bullseye Zone. A parallel initiative involves updating historical, non-compliant resource estimates to align with current reporting standards.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Maxus Mining?
Maxus Mining shares are currently trading at a 52-week low of €0.49, representing a decline of approximately 64% from the January peak. Whether this new exploration data can catalyze a medium-term revaluation of the equity will depend heavily on the conclusions drawn from the 3D modeling effort and the subsequent drilling plans it informs.
