This upward movement comes directly ahead of the scheduled release of fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financials, announced for tomorrow prior to the U.S. market open. The balance sheet has demonstrated recent strength. As of the close of the third quarter in 2025, cash and equivalents were reported at $836.2 million. Gross margins have remained consistently above 70 percent, providing the firm with substantial liquidity to fund ongoing technology development.

Revenue Growth and Strategic Moves

The upcoming report follows a phase of accelerated operational progress. For the first nine months of fiscal 2025, D-Wave managed to increase its revenue to $21.8 million. This figure represents a more than threefold jump from the $6.5 million recorded in the comparable period the previous year.

The company has finalized a two-year, $10 million contract with a Fortune 100 client and secured a $20 million agreement with Florida Atlantic University. A strategically relevant development is the pending acquisition of Quantum Circuits, a transaction valued at $550 million. The deal is structured with $300 million paid in stock and $250 million in cash.
