A senior Chevron executive has conducted another sale of the energy giant's stock, continuing a pattern of disposals by the same insider. This activity coincides with a period of announced leadership changes within the company's upper management.

Chevron has recently outlined significant upcoming changes to its executive team, set to take effect during 2026. The shifts impact key divisions including Supply and Trading, as well as North American shale oil production. Patricia Leigh, President of Supply and Trading, and Bruce Niemeyer, who oversees the shale oil business, are both retiring.

These developments occur as Chevron's share price trades close to its 52-week high. The company is concurrently expanding its exploration portfolio. In a joint venture with HELLENiQ ENERGY, it secured exploration rights for four offshore blocks in Greek waters. Furthermore, Chevron raised its quarterly dividend in January, a move viewed favorably by market analysts. Investment bank Melius Research recently upgraded its rating on the stock, citing both the management transitions and the firm's global expansion strategy.

This sale follows substantially larger disposals by Walz earlier in the month. On February 3, he divested 22,200 shares for about $3.92 million, followed by a sale of 666 shares on February 12.
