Antimony Resources Shares Surge to Record Peak on Project Milestone
18.03.2026 - 06:01:13 | boerse-global.deShares of Antimony Resources achieved a new all-time high of CAD $1.59 on March 17, 2026. This significant price movement was driven by a key corporate decision: the company has formally engaged SRK Consulting to prepare the inaugural NI 43-101-compliant mineral resource estimate for its Bald Hill project located in New Brunswick.
Advancing Toward a Formal Resource Declaration
This strategic move signifies a major transition for the company, shifting from pure exploration to the formal definition of a mineral resource under Canada's recognized NI 43-101 reporting standard. The commissioning of this report is a critical step in de-risking the asset and providing a quantified foundation for future development planning.
Definition Drilling Nears Completion
The resource estimate will be underpinned by data from an ongoing 10,000-meter definition drilling campaign at the Bald Hill site. Currently, 50% of this program is complete, with the remaining 5,000 meters scheduled for completion by the end of April 2026. Initial assay results, which will form the core data for the resource calculation, are anticipated approximately three to four weeks after field activities conclude.
High-Grade Intercepts Underpin Project Potential
The Bald Hill project encompasses over 2,000 hectares. Historical technical reports from 2025 have estimated a potential mineral inventory of 2.7 million tonnes, grading an average of 3% to 4% antimony. The principal mineralization zone stretches across a 700-meter strike length and extends to depths of up to 400 meters.
Recent drilling has yielded high-grade intercepts that support this assessment. A 2025 discovery hole, for instance, intersected 4.5 meters grading 11.7% antimony, including a particularly rich 2.3-meter section assaying 20.9%. Another intercept reported 9.6 meters at 2.38% antimony.

Strong Financial Backing for Upcoming Catalysts
The recent share price advance of approximately 10% elevates the company's market capitalization to around CAD $150 million. This investor interest aligns with the strategic focus on critical minerals; antimony metal was trading between USD $38,000 and $40,000 per tonne at the end of 2024.
Antimony Resources is well-funded to execute its near-term plans. Following a private placement in late 2025 that raised over CAD $10 million, the company holds sufficient capital to finance the remaining drilling and subsequent engineering studies. Its exploration budget for 2026 is set at CAD $3 million. The market now awaits the mineral resource estimate and further project milestones, which are slated for the latter half of 2026.
