The focus on antimony, a niche semi-metal, has intensified dramatically due to shifting geopolitical dynamics. Vital for defense systems, electronics manufacturing, and numerous industrial processes, global supply has historically been dominated by China and Russia. A pivotal shift occurred in late 2024 when China, the dominant producer, effectively halted exports. This triggered a sharp price increase and exposed a significant vulnerability: North America currently lacks any substantial commercial domestic production. Consequently, developing local sources like Bald Hill has become a strategic priority for supply chain security.

Funded Drilling Campaign Underway

Building on knowledge gained from 2025 drilling programs that exceeded 5,000 meters, the company has significantly enhanced its understanding of the New Brunswick deposits. The next phase is now in motion. Antimony Resources has confirmed that financing is fully secured for an extensive new drilling campaign targeting 10,000 meters, scheduled for completion by April.

This fully funded program clears the path for a major milestone. By June, the company plans to release its first official resource estimate for Bald Hill. These results will be crucial for assessing the project's genuine potential to contribute to North America's future supply resilience and reduce Western dependence on Chinese exports.
