The Fundamental Backbone: A Clear 2026 Timeline

Beyond strategic positioning, the core investment thesis rests on operational milestones. In a recent letter to shareholders, CEO Lewis Black outlined the company's priorities for the year. The primary focus remains the Sangdong tungsten mine in South Korea. Almonty plans to commence full commercial production of Phase I at Sangdong in 2026, with an expansion (Phase II) already slated for 2027.

Concurrently, the company is advancing its U.S. initiatives. The "Gentung Browns Lake" project in Montana is targeted to achieve production readiness in the second half of 2026—a critical step in establishing a direct operational footprint within the United States market.

The stock's rapid appreciation in recent days has, in some cases, outpaced existing analyst coverage. While expert consensus currently rates the shares as a "Moderate Buy," price targets appear conservative relative to the current trading level. Both DA Davidson and Oppenheimer have recently published price targets of $12.00.
