Telkom's infrastructure reorganization
In a company release dated September 30, 2026, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk said independent shareholders had approved the spin-off of its wholesale fiber connectivity assets and business to PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia, also known as InfraNexia. Telkom said the transaction was completed through an extraordinary shareholders' meeting and a signed deed of spin-off. Telkom Indonesia also announced changes to its board following the meeting.
Telkom said more than 90 percent of its former network infrastructure assets had been consolidated into InfraNexia. The company described the resulting platform as covering about 112,000 kilometers of fiber-optic networks, including 26,000 kilometers of domestic submarine cable systems. The release put the total transaction value at about Rp85.7 trillion and said InfraNexia would operate as a wholesale, carrier-neutral and open-access infrastructure provider. The company release said the infrastructure would serve telecommunications operators, internet providers, cloud companies and data centers.
