Swedbank AB announced on September 29 that its Nomination Committee for the 2027 Annual General Meeting will include representatives appointed by Sparbankernas Ägareförening, Folksam, Sparbanksstiftelserna, Alecta Tjänstepension and AMF, along with Swedbank board chair Göran Persson. Overdue-loan portfolio sale
In a September 18 announcement, Swedbank said its wholly owned subsidiary Entercard had agreed to sell overdue consumer loans totaling about SEK 4 billion to Brocc Finance and Intrum. Swedbank expects the transaction to improve expected credit losses by approximately SEK 0.5 billion in the third quarter, add about 3 to 5 basis points of capital when completed and reduce annual net interest income by approximately SEK 100 million. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, according to Nasdaq Stockholm.
