VCC platform expands
In a release dated October 5, 2026, Standard Chartered said it had launched its 10th sub-fund under its Variable Capital Company platform with BNY Investments as sub-investment manager. The bank said the platform had raised USD 2.6 billion in assets under management since its 2024 inception. The new Signature Select Premium Cash Reserve Fund was managed by Insight Investment and designed to invest in short-term fixed-income and money-market securities. Standard Chartered said the fund would be available to accredited and professional investors in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Jersey, Kenya and Nigeria. The launch was the bank's fifth VCC fund launch of 2026.
