SpaceX's latest company update centers on Starlink Mobile. In an October 8 update, SpaceX said the service will combine its satellite-to-mobile constellation with a terrestrial deployment using low-band spectrum in the 800 MHz band. The company said final FCC approval is required before deployment.
SpaceX also said the FCC approved its Gen2 Starlink Mobile constellation application, authorizing the launch of 15,000 satellites optimized for 2 GHz spectrum. The company says the satellites are designed to deliver higher bandwidth directly to unmodified devices.
Starship remains another operating focus. SpaceX says Flight 14 will begin a transition toward orbital missions, with future flights intended to support Starlink V3 satellite deliveries and new in-space propellant-transfer tests. The timing of those milestones remains dependent on flight-test progress.
