Management changes
Saab announced on September 10, 2026, that changes to its Group Management team would take effect on October 1, 2026. Future fighter development order
In a September 9, 2026, release, Saab said it had received an order from Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration for continued concept studies on future fighter aircraft. The order value was SEK 2.90 billion, with a contract period from 2026 through 2028 and options for 2029 and 2030. Saab said the work covers flying and ground-based demonstrators, advanced studies and future system concepts for crewed and uncrewed systems.
