Grid project receives federal funding selection
On September 24, 2026, PPL Electric Utilities, part of the PPL Corporation family of companies, announced that it had been selected to receive up to USD 71.50 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Energy. The funding would support the proposed Montour Grid Resilience and Advanced Reconductoring Project through the DOE's SPARK program. PR Newswire
