Batam gas-network expansion
According to Investortrust, PGN is using its GEMPITA GasKita program to support the planned expansion. The program covers 10 residential areas and focuses on explaining the benefits, services, safety requirements and usage of household gas networks.
The company held community outreach activities throughout August 2026 in the neighborhoods included in the development plan. PGN Area Head Batam Wendi Purwanto said community support and infrastructure readiness are needed for the household-network expansion.
