Kyodo News PR Wire reported that HOYA Medical Division relaunched the HOYA Surgical Training Center at the company’s medical division site in Nakano, Tokyo. The facility is intended for ophthalmologists and other medical professionals.
The center provides hands-on training using cataract-surgery equipment, microscopes and pig eyes to simulate intraocular-lens insertion procedures. The release said the program also covers HOYA intraocular lenses, injectors and capsular tension rings, with dedicated staff supporting safe and appropriate product use.
