Third-quarter performance
In its September 24 nine-month report, H&M said third-quarter net sales for June 1 through August 31, 2026, increased to SEK 57,189 million. Operating profit rose to SEK 6,037 million, producing an operating margin of 10.6 percent. The report said sales increased 1 percent in local currencies, while the margin benefited from one-time effects of approximately 1.6 percentage points related to tariffs and goods imports that had increased the cost of goods sold in earlier quarters.
Nine-month results
For the nine months ended August 31, 2026, H&M reported operating profit of SEK 13,462 million and an operating margin of 8.3 percent, according to the same report. The company said its work in purchasing, cost control and more efficient operations contributed to improved profitability.
