Buyback announced in September
In a September 22, 2026 release, Exor said it intended to launch a share buyback program of up to EUR 500 million. The purchases were planned to continue until the company’s next financial results in March 2027.
The same release said Exor’s net asset value per share declined 3.9 percent in the first half of 2026, while the MSCI World Index rose 11.8 percent over the comparison period. Exor also reported that portfolio simplification had continued through divestments and an agreement to sell its stake in Welltec.
Portfolio changes
Exor said the Welltec transaction was expected to bring deployable cash to around EUR 4 billion. The company also highlighted completed divestments in GEDI, Lifenet and NUO, alongside developments involving Iveco Group. The release identified Exor N.V. as the issuer and described the buyback as part of its capital allocation strategy.
