In a company release dated September 30, Eni said it acquired 3,144,244 shares on Euronext Milan between September 22 and September 25, equal to 0.10 percent of its share capital. The weighted average purchase price was EUR 23.8531 per share, for a total consideration of EUR 74,999,852.01. Eni said its cumulative purchases since May 8 reached 73,139,727 shares, or 2.42 percent of share capital.
Customer offer announced
In a separate release published September 29, Eni announced that its Eni for Italy initiative would offer, through Plenitude, a 30 percent discount on electricity and gas rates compared with its main fixed-price offer. The prices are fixed for two years for customers subscribing between October 1 and October 24, according to Eni.
