In a September 4 announcement, Coloplast A/S said the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority had granted Niels Peter Louis-Hansen an exemption from the obligation to make a mandatory takeover offer in connection with a contemplated transfer of a controlling indirect ownership interest in Coloplast A/S.

The company said the transfer is part of a generational change and is aligned with the intended long-term ownership structure involving Coloplast Holding ApS and Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond. Coloplast said the donation and associated transactions are expected to be completed on or around October 1, 2026.
