Recent clinical development
In a September 22, 2026 release, Amgen said its Phase 3 OASIZ 301 study of dazodalibep in adults with Sjogren's disease and moderate-to-severe systemic disease activity met its primary endpoint. The company reported statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement at Week 48, measured by the EULAR Sjogren's Syndrome Disease Activity Index. Improvements were observed as early as Week 4 and were sustained through Week 48.
The same release said Amgen planned to present detailed OASIZ 301 data at an upcoming medical meeting. The company also said its Phase 3 OASIZ 303 study in moderate-to-severe symptomatic Sjogren's disease was expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2026. OASIZ 301 was described as a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving approximately 621 patients, while OASIZ 303 evaluates a separate Sjogren's disease patient group.
Earlier lung cancer study update
In a September 8, 2026 release, Amgen said the Phase 3 DeLLphi-305 study met its primary endpoint at a prespecified interim analysis. The study evaluated IMDELLTRA in combination with AstraZeneca's Imfinzi against Imfinzi alone as first-line maintenance treatment for extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer. Amgen said the study also met secondary progression-free survival and objective response rate endpoints. The trial randomized 563 patients.
