Amadeus and JAL expand NDC ticket sales
In a September 24, 2026 press release, JAL Group said Amadeus IT Group, S.A., and Japan Airlines would begin a global rollout of New Distribution Capability content through the Amadeus Travel Platform in October 2026. The release said travel agencies using Amadeus in 26 countries and regions would progressively handle JAL Group tickets using NDC.
The announcement covers international tickets. Sales were scheduled to begin in Japan on October 1, 2026, and in overseas markets on October 13, 2026. The companies said the collaboration would support the expansion of new sales channels through continued enhancement of NDC content.
