Advantest confirms personal data stolen: stock pre-market at EUR 231.90, plus 0.31 percent

Personal information included in the notification
The notification said the extracted data included contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, national identification numbers, driver's license details, passport numbers, medical information, financial information and other identification numbers, according to BleepingComputer. Advantest said it had no information that the compromised data had been publicly disclosed or misused, while recognizing an increased risk of identity theft and fraud. The company was offering affected individuals 18 months of identity theft, credit and web monitoring services through Kroll. The report said it remained unclear whether the affected information belonged to customers, employees, partners or a combination of those groups.
