ABB showcases aluminum-production technology
In a press release dated October 1, ABB said it would showcase measurement, automation, digitalization, electrification and metallurgical technologies at ALUMINIUM 2026 in Düsseldorf from October 6-8. The company said its AL-EMS electromagnetic stirring technology has been used across more than 430 furnace installations worldwide and cited potential benefits of up to 25 percent higher productivity, up to 15 percent less dross generation and up to 10 percent lower energy consumption.
Direct-current portfolio for data centers
