A Vancouver-based junior miner has turned the page on its corporate identity, swapping its Kirkstone Metals moniker for Radiant Uranium Corp. as it shifts trading venues in the middle of a global nuclear energy revival.

The company's shares opened for business on the Canadian Securities Exchange on August 6, 2026 under the fresh ticker RUC, having formally relinquished its previous listing on the TSX Venture Exchange. The transition had been teed up in advance, with CSE approval secured before the official rebranding took effect.

A Warm Welcome, With Caveats

The debut session delivered a modest pop. Radiant Uranium closed its first day at C$0.155, representing a gain of roughly 6.9 percent on the day. Trading ranged between C$0.15 and C$0.20, with the opening print landing at C$0.155.

That uptick, however, comes against a backdrop of considerable turbulence. The 52-week trading band stretches from C$0.135 to C$14.70 — a chasm that reflects the capital restructuring and share-count adjustments that have reshaped the company over the past year. Just a day before the exchange switch, on August 5, the stock had been changing hands at C$0.16, following a prior close of C$0.17. The week before that, shares had absorbed a sharp single-session decline, which one market observer attributed to uncertainty surrounding the company's strategic direction during the listing transition.

The company now has 41,216,666 common shares outstanding at the CSE — precisely the same count that was in circulation prior to the TSXV delisting.

Management Talks Up the Move

Clive Massey, Radiant Uranium's chief executive, struck an upbeat tone during the listing ceremony, describing the management team as "excited" about the new home. Massey emphasized that the company intends to keep its focus squarely on its existing exploration assets while leveraging what he called the "more business-friendly environment" of the CSE to scout additional acquisition targets — without, in his words, "unnecessary obstacles."

The exchange itself was equally enthusiastic about the addition. Stuart Schady, vice president of business development at the CSE, framed the listing within the broader context of the energy transition, noting that uranium is a critical component as demand for nuclear power continues to climb worldwide.

Saskatchewan Assets Remain the Core

The rebranding changes nothing about the underlying portfolio. Radiant Uranium retains its three early-stage uranium projects in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin: Key Lake Road, Gorilla Lake, and Douglas River.

The flagship Key Lake Road property spans more than 5,500 hectares and sits roughly 90 kilometers south of the Key Lake mine and mill — one of the most storied uranium production sites in the region.

What Lies Ahead

The exchange move lands at a moment of heightened investor interest in the uranium sector, driven by nuclear power's growing role in global decarbonization efforts. Management has signaled ongoing interest in bolt-on acquisitions beyond the existing Athabasca holdings, though no concrete transactions have been announced.

For now, the company's near-term trajectory hinges on exploration progress across its three Saskatchewan properties — with permitting updates and drilling activity at Key Lake Road, Gorilla Lake, and Douglas River likely to command investors' attention in the months ahead.
