Siemens Energy has landed a place on RBC's worldwide "Top 30 Global Ideas for 2026" list, a selection the Canadian bank unveiled on Friday. Analyst Colin Moody paired the inclusion with a reaffirmed "Outperform" rating and a price target of 200 euros. Investors responded in kind: the Munich energy-technology group's stock finished Friday's session 1.1 percent higher at 145.56 euros.

The endorsement rests on growth expectations that Moody describes as well ahead of the sector. Through 2030, he projects average annual revenue growth of 13 percent for Siemens Energy, with operating earnings before interest, taxes and goodwill amortization (EBITA) climbing at an average rate of 40 percent. By comparison, the analyst models just 5 percent revenue growth and 9 percent EBITA growth for the industry over the same stretch.

Metzler's analysts added their own vote of confidence on Thursday, forecasting higher revenue for fiscal 2026 and calling the upper end of the company's own profitability guidance within reach.

Boardroom Reshuffle and a Director's Share Sale

The upbeat analyst commentary lands against a backdrop of governance change. Pekka Lundmark has taken over the supervisory board seat vacated by Matthias Rebellius, a move that followed the departure of the last Siemens representative from the oversight body — a step that further cements the energy group's operational independence. Shareholders will vote on Lundmark's election at the ordinary annual general meeting scheduled for February 25, 2027.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Siemens Energy?

One disclosure item stood out alongside the reshuffle: supervisory board member Robert Kensbock sold 1,100 shares at individual prices of 145.74 euros and 145.76 euros apiece.

Dammam Hub Meeting Sets Strategic Course

Before the pending annual report, Siemens Energy is bundling its strategic initiatives, pairing the personnel moves with an ongoing capital return program and reconfirmed full-year targets. Supervisory board chairman Joe Kaeser and chief executive Christian Bruch were among those who gathered at the Dammam Hub in Saudi Arabia, where the two boards met for joint deliberations — a venue that underscores the weight the company places on its international infrastructure.

119 Gas Turbine Cores for US Mobile Power

On the operating side, Siemens Energy has agreed to supply 119 SGT-400 gas turbine cores for mobile power generation solutions in the United States. Each unit delivers roughly 15 MW of capacity, with deliveries spread across several years and set to begin in 2027. The contract reinforces the group's position in flexible power supply and highlights sustained US demand for mobile generation capacity.

Capital management is running in parallel. Roughly two weeks ago the company launched the third tranche of its share buyback program, worth up to 2 billion euros; the stock has gained 1.1 percent since then. That tranche is due to wrap up no later than March 31, 2027.

Market attention now turns to the earnings release, which will close out the fiscal year and shed light on profitability across the individual divisions. Siemens Energy will publish fourth-quarter and full fiscal 2026 results on November 11, 2026. Management used its pre-close call to reaffirm guidance for fiscal 2026.

The stock has climbed 21 percent since the start of the year.
