Renk plans a 21 October pre-close call and 5 November quarterly statement as JPMorgan and BofA cut targets and Bridgewater lifts its short.

Renk Group has mapped out a two-stage reporting sequence that will shape how investors read its 2026 performance, with the defense and industrial gearbox maker set to hold a pre-close call for the nine-month period on 21 October 2026 before publishing its quarterly statement on 5 November 2026. Management will also walk through the figures on a conference call that day, giving the market a fixed calendar against which to frame expectations.

Ahead of those dates, attention has settled on how unevenly the company's divisions are performing. JPMorgan's David Perry trimmed his price target on the stock to EUR 62 from EUR 75 on 28 September, though he kept an "Overweight" rating in place. Perry anticipates a third-quarter operating result that could land somewhat below expectations, with the industrial business inside the Maritime & Industry division singled out as the likely drag. Vehicle Mobility Solutions, by contrast, is expected to deliver a robust showing — making the gap between the two units a decisive factor for the group's overall quarterly outcome.

A More Cautious Second Voice

Bank of America struck a warier tone. Analyst David Holmes pulled his "Buy" recommendation and moved to "Neutral," while cutting his price target to EUR 42.50 from EUR 62.50. Holmes cited doubts over whether Renk can sustain its gearbox production at current levels.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Renk Group?

Positioning on the short side has shifted as well. Bridgewater Associates, LP raised its disclosed net short position in Renk Group AG to 0.61%, up from 0.51%, according to entries in the Bundesanzeiger. The build-up suggests investors are either hedging existing exposure or betting on further declines.

Price Picture

The shares finished Friday's session at EUR 37.44, a gain of 1.9% on the day. That single-session advance does little to offset the broader trend: the stock has lost 31% since the start of the year.

What emerges from the October and November disclosures will determine whether Vehicle Mobility Solutions can absorb the softness anticipated in Maritime & Industry, and how management frames the durability of the gearbox business going forward.
