Razer has refreshed its ergonomic mouse line with two wireless models, the Basilisk V4 Pro and the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, alongside a pair of charging accessories. All four products are available worldwide as of the announcement, which was picked up by outlets including hartware.de and stadt-bremerhaven.de on 12 October 2026.

What the flagship brings to the desk

Priced at €179.99 (manufacturer's suggested retail price), the Basilisk V4 Pro sits at the top of the range. Its headline component is the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, rated for a maximum resolution of 50,000 DPI, a speed of 930 IPS and acceleration of 90 G.

Razer has packed 14 configurable controls onto the body. Among them are a third side button, a redesigned M1 edge button and a Perfect-180 button. The scroll wheel, a HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, offers four scrolling modes and can switch between a 24-step and a 48-step setting. Underneath the buttons sit fourth-generation optical switches, specified for more than 100 million clicks. Seven Chroma RGB zones provide the lighting.

Connectivity, battery life and a lighter shell

Signal handling has also been reworked. The Basilisk V4 Pro supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate both wirelessly and over a cable. According to Razer, the HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 radio with HyperPolling runs 48 percent more efficiently and cuts latency by 23 percent compared with the previous generation.

Five connection options are on offer in total: wired operation, the HyperSpeed dongle, and Bluetooth 6.2 pairing with as many as three devices. At a standard 1,000 Hz wireless polling rate over HyperSpeed, the battery lasts up to 200 hours; in Bluetooth mode that figure rises to 275 hours. The chassis weighs twelve grams less than its predecessor despite the added hardware.

The cheaper sibling and two charging docks

For buyers watching their budget, the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed arrives at €119.99. It weighs 94 grams and carries twelve controls, with a Focus X 33K sensor capable of up to 33,000 DPI. Untethered, it manages up to 140 hours over the HyperSpeed wireless link or up to 225 hours via Bluetooth.

Two power accessories round out the launch. The Mouse Dock V2 Pro, at €69.99, uses magnetic charging contacts, includes an 8K transceiver and features Chroma RGB lighting. The HyperFlux V2 wireless charging system carries a suggested retail price of €139.99.
