Radiant Uranium Rings the CSE Bell as Kirkstone Identity Fades Into History
Published on 08/08/2026 at 16:35 | Redaktion boerse-global.deThe corporate shell that once traded as Kirkstone Metals has been reborn. Vancouver-based Radiant Uranium Corp. opened for business on the Canadian Securities Exchange on Thursday, August 6, 2026, under the ticker RUC — a fresh identity for a company whose shares have spent months in freefall.
The move caps a rapid-fire transition that began with a board decision on July 22 to abandon the TSX Venture Exchange. The voluntary delisting took effect at the close of trading on Wednesday, August 5, with the final Kirkstone print landing at C$0.14. Both exchanges prohibit parallel listings, making the switch a prerequisite for the CSE debut that followed just 24 hours later.
Same Shares, New Home
Exactly 41,216,666 common shares were admitted to trading on the CSE — the same count that circulated on the TSXV before the delisting. The corporate makeover also brings fresh identifiers: the new CUSIP is 75026P106, with ISIN CA75026P1062 replacing the old Kirkstone designations.
For European holders, the transition carries a practical wrinkle. Frankfurt and Xetra have suspended trading in the legacy Kirkstone certificates (ISIN: CA49752E1060), which last changed hands at €0.10. A technical conversion follows on Monday, August 10, with existing Kirkstone shares automatically swapped 1:1 for Radiant Uranium shares in investor accounts. The company has additionally reserved 17.7 million shares for future capital measures.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Kirkstone Metals?
Why the Switch?
CEO Clive Massey framed the exchange move in terms of regulatory breathing room. The CSE offers a more entrepreneur-friendly environment, he argued, giving management greater flexibility to evaluate acquisition targets "without unnecessary obstacles." The company has signaled interest in expanding beyond its current Saskatchewan portfolio, though no concrete transactions are on the table.
Stuart Schady, the CSE's Vice President of Business Development, welcomed the newcomer with a nod to uranium's role in the global energy transition and rising demand for nuclear power.
The Portfolio That Didn't Change
The rebranding leaves the operational core untouched. Radiant Uranium remains an early-stage exploration play with three projects in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin:
Kirkstone Metals at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.
- Key Lake Road — the flagship, spanning more than 5,500 hectares and situated roughly 90 kilometers south of the Key Lake mine and mill, one of Canada's most storied uranium sites
- Gorilla Lake — a second uranium prospect in the same region
- Douglas River — an early-stage exploration land package
A Stock in Distress
The exchange switch arrives during a painful stretch for shareholders. On August 5, the shares closed at C$0.16, down from C$0.17 the prior session, according to Investing.com. The 52-week range tells a stark story: from C$0.14 to C$14.70 — a band that underscores the dramatic erosion of the past year.
The week before the transition brought another sharp single-day decline. One market observer attributed the drop to uncertainty surrounding the company's strategic direction during the exchange move. Management, for its part, remains focused on exploration of the three Saskatchewan projects — now under a new name, a new ticker, and a new exchange.
