Radiant Uranium is pushing ahead on two exploration fronts in northern Saskatchewan while simultaneously widening its land position in the region, according to a Thursday operations update covering the Key Lake Road and Gorilla Lake projects.

At Key Lake Road, the company has mapped out a technical work program that pairs regulatory permitting with trail clearing and induced polarization geophysical surveys. Those steps are designed to set the stage for diamond drilling at a later date. Gorilla Lake, meanwhile, is being prepared for its own drill permits, alongside on-the-ground verification work.

None of the fieldwork can begin yet. Both properties remain subject to pending government approvals, local consultation processes and final project planning, meaning the operational phase on the ground will only start once those clearances are in hand.

The permitting push is aimed at sharpening the company's drill targets. Management also signaled that it will keep evaluating further acquisitions alongside its existing exploration portfolio.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Radiant Uranium?

Cross Lake Option Adds 2,048 Hectares Southwest of Key Lake Mine

That acquisition pipeline produced a concrete step on September 22, when Radiant Uranium secured an option from Bromell Mining LLP to acquire full ownership of the Cross Lake property. The 2,048-hectare parcel sits in Saskatchewan, southwest of the Key Lake mine, extending the company's presence around established mining infrastructure.

The terms call for total cash payments of $200,000, the issuance of 4,000,000 shares to the partner, and exploration spending of $250,000. Should the option be exercised, the project carries a 1% royalty on future net smelter returns.

A historical estimate dating to 1979 puts the Cross Lake resource at 371,038 pounds of U?O?, at an average grade of 1.2435 pounds per tonne, calculated to a depth of 75 meters. Radiant Uranium stressed that this figure does not constitute a current mineral resource or mineral reserve under modern standards.

Portfolio Reset Follows Samson Metals Exit, Financing and CSE Listing

The latest exploration plans arrive after a stretch of significant corporate change. More than a month ago, Radiant Uranium called off its planned takeover of Samson Metals, completed a private placement to fund operations and moved its listing to the Canadian Securities Exchange.

With those strategic moves now behind it, the company's focus has shifted back to exploration work in the field, as it awaits the regulatory green lights needed for drilling at both Key Lake Road and Gorilla Lake.
