The gap between land position and geological proof is widening at Primary Hydrogen Corp., and the market is paying a premium for the distance.

The Vancouver-based explorer on Monday staked the Seagull North Project in northwestern Ontario, securing 313 contiguous single-cell mining claims covering roughly 65 square kilometres. The acquisition marks the company's third claim package in recent weeks and lands directly adjacent to the Seagull property where Rift Minerals Inc. and Anteros Metals Inc. are already drilling for natural hydrogen and helium.

What the company does not yet have, however, is any evidence from its own ground. Primary Hydrogen is explicit on this point: no drilling, no sampling, no geophysical surveys and no confirmed occurrences exist on the newly staked claims. The geological case rests entirely on proximity to a neighbour's work.

That neighbour has produced the only hard data point in the recent news flow. Anteros Metals reported a rush sample from the adjoining Seagull joint venture ground showing a hydrogen content of 0.65 percent. Primary Hydrogen cites the figure strictly as supporting context for its staking decision and stresses the result did not come from its own acreage.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying PRIMARY HYDROGEN?

The company is effectively buying optionality on a possible extension of a hydrogen structure that has yet to be proven on its side of the fence.

A portfolio built on adjacency

Seagull North slots into a broader land-banking push that has accelerated sharply. Just two weeks ago, the company announced a fully funded and permitted exploration and initial drilling program at Wicheeda North — the one project where field work is actually scheduled. A separate play, the Northumberland property in Nova Scotia, is being positioned as a district-scale opportunity in the Cumberland Basin, though the company has confirmed no hydrogen drilling has occurred there and no hydrogen occurrence is documented across the two licences totalling 1,166 hectares.

The pattern is consistent: secure ground beside promising structures and wait for neighbours to prove the geology. Wicheeda North remains the sole location where Primary Hydrogen itself has committed to concrete field activity.

Market momentum versus measurement

The share price reaction has been anything but cautious. Over the past 30 days, the stock has climbed 112 percent, closing Friday at EUR 1.45 — within 0.7 percent of the 52-week high touched the same day. A separate reading puts the 30-day gain at 107 percent with the stock at EUR 1.42, up 6.0 percent on the day. Either way, the move has left the shares trading well above technical reference levels, raising the question of how much of the current valuation already anticipates exploration success that internal data has yet to confirm.

The run-up reflects a dense news sequence: a management change, the Wicheeda North drilling announcement and now two additional claim acquisitions in quick succession. What it does not reflect is any assay result from Primary Hydrogen's own properties.

No timeline has been given for first field work at Seagull North. For investors, the distinction between portfolio expansion and genuine exploration proof remains the crux — and for the newest claim block, that proof is still entirely outstanding.
