Primary Hydrogen Clears Governance Hurdles as Wicheeda North Gears Up for October 1 Spud
Published on 09/21/2026 at 15:10 | Editorial boerse-global.deWith its shareholder meeting in the rearview mirror, Primary Hydrogen is shifting its full attention to the field, where a tightly sequenced exploration program is building toward the company's first-ever drill test at the Wicheeda North rare-earth project in British Columbia.
The countdown is already underway on two fronts. Geophysical work and soil sampling are being wrapped up in parallel, and both streams feed directly into the selection of drill targets for the maiden campaign.
Airborne Survey and Sampling Near Completion
Primary Hydrogen contracted Precision GeoSurveys to carry out a radiometric survey from the air, covering a total of 738 line-kilometres. That flight program was scheduled for completion by Sunday, and management has indicated that preliminary results should be available by the end of September.
On the ground, the first phase of soil sampling at Wicheeda North is already finished, with the collected material delivered to the laboratory for analysis. A second sampling pass across three additional grids is set to conclude on September 23, according to media reports. Laboratory results from that round are still pending.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying PRIMARY HYDROGEN?
Together, the geochemical and geophysical datasets are intended to sharpen the definition of the anomalies that will guide the drill rig. How precisely those targets are hit should become clearer once the airborne data is processed in the coming days.
Radius Drilling Hired for 1,500-Metre Program
The company has enlisted Radius Drilling to conduct the roughly 1,500-metre maiden drill program, which is slated to begin on October 1, 2026. Completion of all holes is targeted for November 1, 2026.
Shareholders Deliver Formal Backing
Ahead of that operational milestone, Primary Hydrogen has secured the formal sign-off of its owners. At the annual and special meeting held mid-month, 911,489 common shares were represented, equal to 12.29 percent of the issued capital at the time.
Shareholders approved a new omnibus equity incentive plan featuring both a rolling component and a fixed component, each capped at up to 10 percent. The slate of directors — David Jackson, Benjamin Asuncion, William Timothy Heenan and Martin Kowcun — was re-elected to the board, and DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants was retained as auditor.
Share Price Moves in Opposite Directions
The stock has been volatile around these developments. Primary Hydrogen most recently changed hands at EUR 0.7900, a gain of 4.0 percent on the day. That advance follows a decline earlier in the week, when the shares weakened 3.3 percent to EUR 0.7350 on a Monday that brought no fresh company-specific news.
With the leadership structure confirmed and the exploration programs ratified, attention now fixes on the Wicheeda North measurement data expected at the end of September — the final input before the drills turn on October 1.
