Shares of The Pebble Group PLC advanced sharply on Wednesday, climbing 6.4% intraday to 0.6650 GBP as investors digested a half-year report that showed top-line growth across both of the company's operating divisions. The rally leaves the stock just 2.2% shy of its 52-week high of 0.6800 GBP, a level that has capped gains over the past year. The move extends a broader run: over the past 30 days alone, the equity has added 17%, recovering from a 52-week low of 0.4300 GBP.

The British promotional-products and technology group reported revenue of 60.7 million GBP for the six months ended 30 June 2026, up 3.6% from 58.6 million GBP a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose 6% to 6.6 million GBP, with management pointing to a combination of revenue growth and disciplined overhead control. Gross margins held in line with long-term averages, and the company said revenue visibility had improved meaningfully, giving it a firmer planning base for the second half.

Facilisgroup and Brand Addition Both Contribute

Growth was carried by the group's two core segments. Facilisgroup, the company's technology arm, lifted annual recurring revenue from software subscriptions by 12% compared with the end of 2025. As of 7 September, the division counted 258 partners, including 16 new client wins since the start of the year. Those new accounts carry an ARR contribution roughly 50% above the equivalent prior-year cohort, and contract terms have stretched revenue visibility to about 22 months.

Brand Addition, which supplies branded merchandise to global brands, posted a 4% revenue increase to 51.8 million GBP. That gain was driven largely by momentum from contracts signed in the prior year, alongside steady contributions from existing customers. According to media reports, segment revenue came in slightly ahead of the year-earlier level, underscoring the group's operational stability.

Statutory Profit Hit by Non-Cash Charges

Headline profitability told a different story. Statutory operating profit fell to 1.4 million GBP from 2.8 million GBP a year earlier. Pebble attributed the decline primarily to higher non-cash depreciation charges and share-based compensation costs — accounting effects that masked the improvement in adjusted metrics during the reporting period.

The balance sheet also shifted. Net debt stood at 1.2 million GBP as of 30 June 2026, compared with net cash of 6.0 million GBP a year earlier, a swing driven in part by investments and capital returns. Management expects second-half cash generation to restore a net cash position of roughly 5.0 million GBP by 31 December 2026.

Buyback Completed, Dividend Decision Deferred

Capital returns have been a central plank of the company's strategy this year. On 30 July, Pebble closed a buyback programme totalling 7.0 million GBP, having topped it up by a further 2.0 million GBP earlier that month. Combined with a dividend of 3.0 million GBP already paid during the year, total shareholder distributions since the start of 2026 amount to 10.0 million GBP. No interim dividend was declared for the first half; the board said it will decide on the full-year 2026 payout when it reports annual results in March 2027.

The interim figures were unaudited but point to a clear upward trend in profitability, with management emphasising that operations have been made more efficient. Investors appear to be reading the combination of earnings improvement and cost restraint as a sign of resilience in the current market.

Technical Picture Tightens

On the charts, the stock now trades 15% above its 50-day moving average and just 1.3% below its 52-week high, depending on the intraday print. Market watchers are focused on whether the shares can carry Wednesday's momentum through the resistance at the prior annual peak.
