UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights issues findings on Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Mauritania, Romania, and Sweden
07.08.2025 - 18:00:39GENEVA, 04 March 2024 / PRN Africa / -- The UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights today published its findings on Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Mauritania, Romania, and Sweden.
The Committee examined the above six countries during its latest session from 12 February to 1 March. The findings contain positive aspects of each country's implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. They also highlight matters of concern and make recommendations.
The findings, officially known as Concluding Observations, are now available on the session webpage.
The Committee will hold its next session from 9 to 27 September 2024 to review Albania, Cyprus, Honduras, Iceland, Kyrgyzstan, Malawi, and Poland.
