Retail and food-service chains with large store networks are being invited to inquire about a workplace movement programme built around five-minute exercise sessions, according to industry reports dated 17 October 2026. The initiative comes from Fraktal Workout K.K., which is taking consulting requests directly from the head offices of companies operating multiple branches.

At the heart of the scheme is the online training platform "BODY PALETTE". Its units are designed to last roughly five minutes each and can be slotted into the working day either immediately before the store opens, right after the morning team briefing, or at flexible points during scheduled breaks.

Content is tailored to conditions at each individual site. Beyond the strain caused by prolonged standing, the concept accounts for the physical dimensions of the branches and the prescribed work clothing worn by staff, so that sessions can be carried out on the spot without extra effort. Rollout begins gradually at selected branches, and employee participation is voluntary.

Tracking Trends Across Up to Five Organisational Levels

To follow health trends over time, Fraktal Workout K.K.'s offering includes a monthly health monitoring component built on 16 standardised survey points. The resulting data can be compared across as many as five hierarchical levels — from a parent company's head office, through regional responsibilities, down to an individual branch. To protect workers, results are evaluated and presented only in anonymised form.

Optional Add-Ons: AI Posture Analysis and E-Learning

Beyond the daily short routines, the programme includes further optional elements. Companies can book an artificial-intelligence-based posture analysis, among other services. E-learning modules are also available, which employees can use at times that suit them — between shifts or from home.

Rounding out the portfolio are monthly seminars aimed at head-office decision-makers and branch managers, intended to embed ergonomic considerations in day-to-day operations over the long term.
