Structural Collapse During Rescue Operation
The fatalities occurred when a wall and an iron beam collapsed while firefighters were battling the blaze. Authorities identified the deceased as Rohit Yadav and Tirathpal Singh, both firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Three other firefighters—Rajpal Singh, Manish Kumar, and Amit Kumar—sustained injuries during the structural failure. A factory employee also suffered minor injuries, according to corporate reports from the subsidiary.
Six fire tenders were deployed to contain the flames, with members of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) also arriving at the scene to assist with rescue and recovery operations.
