Falcon Metals is pressing forward on two exploration fronts in Australia while its share price continues to swing on broader market sentiment. The company has expanded its maiden drill program at the Errabiddy gold project in Western Australia and reported visible gold alongside high-grade intercepts at the Blue Moon project in Victoria, even as the stock endured a turbulent session in Frankfurt.

The equity finished Thursday at EUR 0.3750, a gain of 3.0 percent, staging an intraday turnaround after Australian gold names came under early pressure. The soft open traced back to overnight declines in gold futures, which were driven by renewed US interest-rate expectations tied to higher oil prices. No company-specific news was cited for the rebound, though the explorer's operational momentum at multiple sites has kept the fundamental story in focus.

Errabiddy campaign scaled up

At Errabiddy, Falcon Metals kicked off its first reverse-circulation drilling program at the Olsen Well target on September 15. The campaign now covers roughly 50 holes spanning 6,000 meters — a significant increase from the 3,500 meters originally announced. The work is designed to systematically test a gold-in-soil anomaly stretching 5.8 kilometers, with drilling concentrated on the central portion of that corridor. The company aims to pin down the sub-surface extent of potential ore bodies, and Errabiddy is viewed internally as one of the key catalysts for exploration in the region.

Blue Moon confirms visible gold

Results from Victoria have added further weight to the story. On September 14, Falcon Metals reported high-grade mineralization and visible gold across every section drilled to date within the Lotus Zone at the Blue Moon gold project. That zone has now been defined over a 750-meter strike length and remains open to the north.

Standout intercepts include 3 meters grading 13.6 grams of gold per tonne from a depth of 824.9 meters, which encompasses a 0.6-meter sub-interval running 60.1 grams per tonne. A second hole returned 2.6 meters at 17.8 grams per tonne from 641.6 meters, including 0.7 meters at 64.0 grams per tonne. These figures reinforce the view that continuous mineralized structures run through the Lotus Zone.

Three diamond rigs are active across the Blue Moon property. Two are carrying out northern step-out drilling along the Garden Gully trend, while the third is testing the Paddy's Gully reef zone roughly 320 meters to the east.

Shareholder register shifts

Alongside the exploration updates, the company's investor base has seen some changes. Falcon Metals disclosed on September 9 that Macquarie Group Limited is no longer classified as a substantial shareholder after falling below the notification threshold. A day earlier, on September 8, the company announced a voting-rights change involving T Goyder. Falcon Metals also published a cleansing notice on September 4 as part of its capital-markets disclosure obligations.

Attention now turns to pending laboratory results from the Errabiddy drilling, which are expected to shape the next phase of the company's operational trajectory.
