EGYM Pushes Deeper Into Gym Analytics With Expanded Business Suite and a 2026 Data Hub

Operators of fitness clubs and physiotherapy practices are sitting on a growing pile of training data. The harder part is turning it into something staff can actually act on. EGYM, the sports and health technology company, is betting it can close that gap by folding operational tools and detailed workout analytics into a single interface.
The company has expanded its Business Suite, a platform it positions as a control centre for day-to-day gym management. Rather than scattering insights across separate systems, the aim is to give operators one place to steer their business on the basis of data.
More than ten new data points
At the centre of the update is a set of more than ten new data points. They cover how members use the app, how satisfied and engaged they are, and how their training is progressing. Pulled together, those measurements are meant to give operators a sharper picture of member behaviour and athletic development.
Alongside the analytics, EGYM has added self-service functions inside the platform. One is the Smart Strength Self Service, which includes configuration options for the Smart Strength Series 3 line of strength machines. The EduPortal is also being connected directly, so training and knowledge content can be delivered from within the system.
Melissa Mohrhäuser, Senior Product Manager at EGYM, commented on the additions to the Business Suite and pointed to the practical functions of the revised platform.
Three tiers for three kinds of need
EGYM has split the offering into three levels to match differing operator requirements:
- Business Suite: the control centre for daily on-site operations.
- Data Hub: open data connectivity for deeper analysis.
- Health Score Meetings: personal support in interpreting the metrics.
The Health Score Meetings are run together with an in-house customer success expert. The idea is to help facilities translate the numbers they collect into concrete steps for looking after their members.
A Data Hub due at the end of 2026
Beyond the current platform, EGYM is planning a further expansion of its data infrastructure. The EGYM Data Hub is slated to follow towards the end of 2026. This interface is designed to transfer member-level training data straight into operators' existing systems.
That would let gyms and practices run their own detailed analyses and embed training data more deeply into their management software. The move reflects a broader trend across the fitness and health sector, where workout programming and business processes are increasingly linked through integrated digital ecosystems.
