Antimony Resources Seals C$3 Million Placement With Single Mining Backer as Bald Hill Drilling Nears Restart
Published on 10/17/2026 at 17:11 | Editorial boerse-global.deAntimony Resources has secured the entire planned size of its latest capital raise from one industry buyer, a vote of confidence that lands just as the explorer prepares to send rigs back to its Bald Hill property. The company said order books for the placement closed early, with a single strategic mining investor taking down the whole tranche. Shares finished Friday at 0.2050 euro, up 7.6% on the day — a move the company did not directly attribute to any single development.
One Buyer, No Syndicate
Under the placement, Antimony Resources intends to issue up to 10 million units priced at C$0.30 apiece, raising gross proceeds of up to C$3 million. No banking syndicate is involved. Each unit bundles one common share with half a warrant, and a full warrant carries the right to buy one additional share at C$0.50 for two years. Closing is scheduled for 21 October 2026, subject to customary conditions.
Having a sector investor absorb the full allocation spares the company a drawn-out marketing process and gives management visibility on funding as it lines up its operational calendar.
Assays Set the Stage for a Resource Estimate
The cash is earmarked chiefly for advancing Bald Hill, alongside general working capital. It follows drill results released on Wednesday from the property's Main Zone, where hole BHW-26-19 cut 21.45% antimony over 1.10 metres and 15.0% over 0.8 metres. Those high-grade intervals sit inside a broader mineralised envelope of 13.0 metres averaging 4.36% antimony.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?
Field work is set to resume within two weeks, with several rigs mobilised at the outset. The campaign will chase the higher-grade mineralisation southward toward the Central Zone, building on the continuity confirmed so far. Consistently strong grades across economically meaningful widths are the yardstick in antimony exploration, and evidence of a southern extension would reinforce the property's overall geological model. The drilling is also meant to expand and tighten up the known mineralisation, laying the groundwork for a maiden resource estimate.
GBC Keeps Its Buy Call
GBC AG weighed in on Thursday, with analysts Cosmin Filker and Matthias Greiffenberger reiterating a "BUY" rating and a price target of C$2.52 running to 31 December 2027. The research house noted that its fair value per share is now lower than before. Even after Friday's advance, the stock trades 81% below its 52-week high on European venues, and at a market capitalisation of EUR 26.56 million it remains a thinly capitalised resource name.
The financing picture is broader than the unit placement alone: Antimony Resources has also completed a flow-through raise grossing C$5,000,000, adding further liquidity to the balance sheet. For explorers, dependable funding is the bedrock of the business — sustained field programmes and laboratory work are expensive, and the fresh money buys room to run the exploration steps without slipping behind schedule.
Whether the secured liquidity marks a lasting turn in the share price will hinge on how the resource definition at Bald Hill develops from here.
