Antimony Resources has secured the full amount of its planned private placement from one mining-sector investor, removing the need for a drawn-out market bookbuild just as the explorer prepares its first official mineral resource estimate for the Bald Hill project. The stock finished Friday's session at 0.2050 euros, a gain of 7.6 percent, though the company did not attribute the move to any specific news.

One Buyer Takes the Whole Ticket

Under the placement, Antimony Resources will issue up to 10 million units at 0.30 Canadian dollars apiece, raising gross proceeds of as much as 3 million Canadian dollars. Each unit bundles one common share with half a warrant; a full warrant carries the right to acquire one further share at an exercise price of 0.50 Canadian dollars over a two-year window. No syndicate of banks is involved in the transaction.

Because a single industry investor has subscribed for the entire tranche, management avoids a lengthy marketing period and gains visibility on funding for the work ahead. Closing is scheduled for 21 October 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. The proceeds are earmarked for further exploration at Bald Hill and for general corporate purposes.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?

Assays Point to a Southern Extension

The financing follows drill results released on Wednesday from Bald Hill's Main Zone. Hole BHW-26-19 cut 21.45 percent antimony over 1.10 metres and 15.0 percent over 0.8 metres, intervals that sit inside a broader mineralised envelope of 13.0 metres averaging 4.36 percent antimony.

According to the company, the intercepts confirm that higher-grade mineralisation continues southward toward the central zone. An earlier flow-through financing had already channelled cash directly into on-the-ground geological work, and the current programme is designed to widen and tighten the known mineralisation as the basis for a maiden resource estimate. Antimony's status as a critical technology metal raises the stakes on building a credible resource model, which the company expects to deliver reliable parameters for the next development phase.

GBC Starts Coverage With a Buy

Analysts Cosmin Filker and Matthias Greiffenberger of GBC AG initiated coverage on 16 October 2026 with a "BUY" rating and a price target of 2.52 CAD valid through 31 December 2027. Even after Friday's advance, the shares trade 81 percent below their 52-week high on European venues. Market capitalisation currently stands at 26.56 million euros.

Whether the newly assured liquidity marks a lasting turn will depend heavily on how the resource definition progresses — and for market watchers, the formal completion of the raise on 21 October 2026 is the next fixed point on the corporate calendar.
