Antimony Resources Extends High-Grade Antimony Beyond Bald Hill's Main Zone
Published on 09/25/2026 at 03:40 | Editorial boerse-global.deAntimony Resources has reported its first-ever laboratory results from the Central Zone at its Bald Hill project in New Brunswick, Canada, marking a fresh chapter in the junior explorer's efforts to map the full extent of mineralization across the property.
The September 11 update covered both the established Main Zone and the newly delineated Central Zone. In the Main Zone, drill hole BH-26-21 returned 27.3 percent antimony over a 0.3-meter interval, set within a broader mineralized envelope grading 2.28 percent antimony across 9.12 meters. The intercept reinforces the geological continuity of the known structure and supports the company's push to pinpoint high-grade sections and systematically document their spatial reach.
Central Zone Delivers Maiden Assay Results
The Central Zone, which had not previously been assayed, produced its first confirmed chemical data. Hole BHC-26-01 cut 10.3 percent antimony over 2.2 meters, within a wider 2.2-meter section averaging 2.63 percent antimony. Management views the numbers as evidence that the targeted structures extend beyond the previously defined core area.
Those findings build on earlier work at Bald Hill, where prior exploration had flagged traces of multiple metals. More than a month ago, the team also encountered visible gold in the Central Zone. Hole BHC-26-13 showed the precious metal at a depth of 165.85 meters, with a portable X-ray fluorescence reading returning 285 grams of gold per tonne. Such isolated occurrences point to complex subsurface geology.

Geophysical Survey and Broader Drill Campaign
To capture the underground picture at scale and sharpen future drill targets, Antimony Resources commissioned an airborne survey. Roughly a month ago, contractor Terraquest Ltd. completed an aeromagnetic and electromagnetic program spanning 594 line-kilometers over Bald Hill. The resulting geophysical data are intended to help identify conductive rock zones for subsequent drilling phases.
The latest assays slot into a wider program designed to run approximately 18,000 meters in total. In early August, a sample from hole BH-26-16 in the Main Zone had already returned 13.0 percent antimony, accompanied by 2.2 grams of gold per tonne over 3.29 meters. Together with the earlier geophysical work and the visible-gold discovery, the new chemical analyses are tightening the data set underpinning the exploration model.
Board Advisory Role Filled
On the corporate side, Antimony Resources named John M. Melkon as an advisor to the board on July 14. Melkon, a director and assistant professor at the United States Military Academy, is expected to lead the formation and management of a critical minerals consortium.

Share Price Remains Under Pressure
Trading in the stock has been volatile. On Thursday, the shares closed at EUR 0.2680, a gain of 0.8 percent. Since the start of the year, the stock has lost 16 percent of its value. At its current level of EUR 0.2670, the price sits around 75 percent below its 52-week high of EUR 1.05, even as a 0.4 percent intraday advance offered a measure of stabilization. Investors now await further assays from the ongoing large-scale drill program to gauge the true scale of Bald Hill.
