Wolfden Resources Reports Robust Drill Results from Nevada Gold Project

Wolfden Resources reports high-grade gold assays at its Rockland project, including 3.4m of 11.86 g/t AuEq, with follow-up drilling planned for 2026 to expand the mineralized zone.

Exploration company Wolfden Resources has released the final assay results from its recent drilling campaign at the Rockland gold project in Nevada. The data indicates extensive mineralization, including several high-grade intervals, raising expectations for the property's potential. The company is now preparing for a follow-up drilling phase scheduled for next summer.

High-Grade Intervals Highlight Latest Assays

A detailed review of the results places significant emphasis on drill hole REP22. Within this hole, geologists identified a 100-meter interval averaging 1.06 grams per tonne gold equivalent (AuEq). Notably, this broader zone contained higher-grade sections, including 40.9 meters grading 1.92 g/t AuEq. The most concentrated area was a 3.4-meter segment assaying 11.86 g/t AuEq.

The true width of the mineralized structure in this sector is estimated to be approximately 85 meters. For the purpose of calculating gold equivalent values, Wolfden applied market prices of $2,000 per ounce for gold and $25 per ounce for silver.

Project Economics and Ownership Pathway

Wolfden currently holds an option to acquire up to a 75% interest in the Rockland project. To secure full ownership, the company must complete option payments totaling $500,000 over the coming two years.

The project's economic prospects are supported by historical metallurgical testing. These prior studies suggested potential gold recovery rates ranging from 85% to 98%, a critical metric for assessing future processing viability.

Forward Plan: Exploration Set to Resume

The operational calendar for the project is already defined. Wolfden Resources plans to restart drilling operations in July 2026. The primary objective of the upcoming exploration phase will be to expand the known mineralized zone eastward, aiming to better delineate the overall size and scope of the deposit. The forthcoming campaign will be crucial in determining if the positive mineralization trends can be consistently extended.
