The board of directors at Ubtech Robotics is scheduled to convene on March 31 to approve the audited financial statements for the full year 2025. A key agenda item will be a decision on whether to issue a final dividend for the first time—a notable potential shift for a firm historically focused on reinvesting profits into research and capacity expansion.

Capital Strategy and International Moves

Supporting its growth ambitions, Ubtech secured a credit facility worth up to $1 billion from Infini Capital late in 2025. These funds are earmarked for financing a joint venture and the construction of a large-scale manufacturing plant in the Middle East. The company has stated that any dividend distribution will be contingent upon its current liquidity position, profitability, and overarching capital allocation priorities. Both the annual results and the dividend decision are set for publication on March 31.

Full-Year Outlook Built on First-Half Performance

The upcoming annual figures follow a robust first-half performance in 2025. Revenue for that period increased by 27.5% year-over-year to 621 million yuan. Gross profit saw a rise of 17.3%, reaching 217 million yuan. Meanwhile, the company's net loss narrowed by 18.5% to 440 million yuan, indicating positive momentum despite the ongoing deficit.

Walker S2 Orders to Boost Second Half

Performance in the latter half of the year is expected to be crucial. During 2025, Ubtech accumulated orders for its humanoid industrial robot, the Walker S2, valued at over 800 million yuan. Significant contracts within this total included one worth 250 million yuan in September and another for 159 million yuan from Sichuan province. Mass production and deliveries commenced in mid-November 2025, and revenue recognition from these shipments is anticipated to be reflected in the annual report.
