Ubtech Robotics Claims Global Revenue Crown in Humanoid Robot Market
06.04.2026 - 06:09:29 | boerse-global.deA significant milestone was reached in the robotics industry during the 2025 fiscal year, with Ubtech Robotics announcing its ascent to become the world's highest-revenue manufacturer of humanoid robots. The company's latest financial results provide the substantiating figures behind this claim.
Profitability Path Shows Tangible Progress
While still operating at a loss, Ubtech is demonstrating clear strides toward financial sustainability. The company's net loss narrowed considerably, decreasing to 703 million yuan from 1.12 billion yuan. A key driver behind this improvement is a substantial expansion in gross margin, which advanced to 37.7% from 28.7%. This enhancement was primarily fueled by the industrial segment, which itself achieved a segment-specific margin of approximately 54.6%.
The firm's balance sheet remains robust, supported by three successful capital raises completed within the reporting period. Ubtech concluded the year with a solid liquidity position, holding roughly 4.9 billion yuan in cash and equivalents.

Explosive Growth in Core Humanoid Business
The overall corporate revenue surged by 53.3% to reach 2.001 billion yuan. However, the standout performance originated from the life-sized humanoid segment, which experienced meteoric growth. Revenue from this division skyrocketed by over 2,200% to 820 million yuan.
This financial leap corresponds with a landmark achievement in production and delivery. Ubtech shipped 1,079 units of its Walker series last year, marking the first time any company has delivered more than a thousand full-sized humanoid robots in a single year. This volume signifies a crucial transition from laboratory prototyping to genuine industrial-scale serial production.
Market Reaction and Strategic Ambitions
The market has responded positively to these developments. In early April, Ubtech's shares posted significant gains. Analysts at Citi recently reaffirmed their buy rating on the stock and raised their price target to 190 Hong Kong dollars. The financial institution's researchers cited the company's first-mover advantage and the humanoid segment's revenue momentum, which is exceeding expectations, as primary catalysts.
Looking forward, Ubtech has set an ambitious target for 2026: achieving an annual production capacity of 10,000 industrial humanoid robots. Management acknowledges ongoing challenges, including rising trade receivables, which remain a risk factor to monitor. A critical test for the company will be maintaining its accelerated delivery pace while continuing to reduce net losses.
