In a bold move underscoring its commitment to cryptocurrency, Strategy has executed another significant capital reallocation. The company has funneled the entire $264 million in proceeds from a recent sale of its own shares directly into purchasing Bitcoin, deepening its already substantial stake in the digital asset.

Between January 19 and 25, Strategy utilized its at-the-market offering program to sell 1.57 million of its Class A common shares. This transaction generated net proceeds of approximately $257 million. In a parallel move, the issuance of around 70,200 preferred shares raised an additional $7 million.

Rather than holding the capital or deploying it elsewhere, the firm immediately directed the combined $264 million sum toward expanding its Bitcoin treasury. The latest acquisition added 2,932 Bitcoin to its reserves at an average price of $90,061 per coin. This purchase price marks a notable premium compared to the company's historical average cost basis.

Following this purchase, Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 712,647 coins. The cumulative acquisition cost for this vast position is approximately $54.19 billion, resulting in an average purchase price of $76,037 per Bitcoin. This cements the company's status as one of the world's largest corporate holders of the cryptocurrency.
