Tungsten Gains Critical Status

The strategic importance of Nexcel Mtl's primary focus, tungsten, has been formally elevated. The Critical Minerals Institute (CMI) has ranked tungsten among its "Top 5" most critical raw materials in its 2026 watchlist. This reassessment is driven by mounting vulnerabilities within global supply chains. Tungsten is deemed essential for defense applications, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

This classification underscores the potential of the company's Burnt Hill project in New Brunswick. The asset is not only a tungsten resource but also hosts deposits of molybdenum and tin, positioning Nexcel Mtl as a relevant player in the critical minerals sector.

Market Liquidity Increases Following Lock-Up Expiry

A significant technical milestone was reached on April 5th, introducing fresh liquidity into the market. The mandatory four-month holding period for securities issued in a December 2025 financing round, valued at a total of 3.55 million Canadian dollars, has now concluded.

Consequently, both the common shares and the share purchase warrants from that private placement can be freely traded on the Canadian Securities Exchange without restriction. This expansion of the public float occurs as the company has completed the initial funding phase for its two flagship projects: the Burnt Hill tungsten initiative and the Lac Ducharme rare earth element project.

A central agenda item involves the proposed adoption of a new equity incentive plan for management.
