A significant institutional investor has taken a stake in Diginex, signaling confidence in the company's strategic pivot. Nalimz Holdings has acquired a position of nearly four percent in the firm, a move that follows a comprehensive corporate overhaul focused on sustainability data and new leadership.

New Leadership and Strategic Direction

The investment coincides with a major leadership transition at Diginex. Lubomila Jordanova, whose expertise lies in carbon accounting, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer. She is steering the company's transformation into an integrated platform for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. Recent mandatory filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reveal that Nalimz Holdings now controls approximately 9.1 million ordinary shares, equating to a 3.93 percent ownership stake.

Growth Through Acquisition and Partnership

To accelerate its new strategy, Diginex is aggressively pursuing growth via acquisitions. The company has agreed to purchase Berlin-based startup Plan A for about 55 million euros. This transaction provides not only advanced technological capabilities in carbon footprint calculation but also grants direct access to Plan A's major client base, which includes corporations like BMW and Deutsche Bank.

Concurrently, Diginex has secured a four-year global reseller agreement with Resulticks, targeting $40 million in revenue. A practical benefit of this partnership is a structured payment plan: Resulticks will disburse a total of $8 million in installments by the end of September 2026. These funds are earmarked for restructuring existing financing arrangements, ensuring Diginex receives predictable capital inflows.

Regulatory Tailwinds Fuel Expansion

The company's expansion is being propelled by evolving regulatory landscapes. In Europe, the newly implemented Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) mandates detailed environmental disclosures for tens of thousands of companies, creating substantial structural demand for compliant software solutions.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Diginex?

Similar regulatory momentum is building in the Middle East. Diginex is strategically positioning itself for the new climate law in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its recent cooperation agreement with the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) aligns perfectly with this regional focus. The next phase of its global expansion strategy is contractually set to engage with the enforcement of mandatory reporting requirements in the UAE, which take effect in May 2026.

By consolidating carbon accounting and ESG reporting into a unified technological offering, Diginex has fundamentally restructured its operational foundation. The entry of Nalimz Holdings as a shareholder reflects growing institutional belief in this revised corporate direction and its market potential.
