Saga Metals has initiated a critical phase of metallurgical testing at its Radar titanium-vanadium-iron project in Labrador. This technical work coincides with an ongoing drill program aimed at establishing the project's first mineral resource estimate. The company's operational expansion is supported by recently secured financing, raising questions about whether current resources are sufficient to meet its 2026 objectives.

Financing and Market Activity Provide Foundation

A recent capital injection has strengthened Saga Metals' financial position to pursue its technical goals. Management completed an accelerated warrant exercise program on February 26. Since the beginning of the year, this initiative has brought in approximately CAD 3.42 million from the exercise of over 6.7 million warrants.

On the market front, the company's shares closed at CAD 0.61 yesterday. During the trading session, the stock moved between a low of CAD 0.61 and a high of CAD 0.64, with a total volume of 267,121 shares changing hands.

Technical Strategy: From Drilling to Processing Analysis

The company is now transitioning into specialized processing studies at the Radar project. The current 2026 exploration campaign remains active, with drilling ongoing in the Hawkeye and Trapper zones to gather data for the inaugural mineral resource estimate (MRE). A key technical focus is verifying the continuity of oxide layers within the Trapper South anomalies.

The newly launched metallurgical tests are informed by historical drill results. Past intercepts at Trapper North included sections of 269.36 meters grading 6.57% TiO? and 296.47 meters grading 7.46% TiO?. The present investigations aim to determine the suitability of the titanomagnetite mineralization for simplified processing. The project benefits from its proximity to existing infrastructure, including deep-water ports and hydroelectric power facilities.

2026 Roadmap: Defining a Critical Resource

Saga Metals' focus on titanium, vanadium, and iron aligns with regional exploration targets in Labrador. The Radar property encompasses roughly 24,175 hectares and completely surrounds the Dykes River Intrusive Complex.

The strategy for this year is built around a 7,500-meter diamond drill program designed to precisely delineate and define the enriched structures within the Trapper Zone. The outcomes from this drilling campaign will be a primary determinant of the quality and scale of the planned resource estimate, marking a pivotal step for the company's ambitions.
