Redwood AI will deploy its expertise in computational chemistry, cheminformatics and retrosynthesis to systematically generate drug candidates, analyse patents and plan synthetic routes. The platform promises to comb chemical space more efficiently than traditional methods, helping scientific teams identify promising leads earlier in the development process. Given that bringing a new drug to market typically takes more than a decade and costs billions, the collaboration opens a potential revenue stream in a market projected to exceed $50 billion by 2030 for AI-driven drug discovery.

Parallel to the scientific collaboration, Redwood AI has taken concrete steps to lower the barrier for US investors. On 27 May 2026 the company’s shares became eligible for electronic settlement through the Depository Trust Company (DTC), a move that streamlines trading for North American buyers. Previously, manual processes impeded transactions on the OTCQB market. The same day, Redwood AI launched a communications campaign with InvestorBrandNetwork (IBN) under a cash-only contract worth $114,000, running until 30 September 2026. The agreement covers corporate communications, digital media services and brand strategy — critically, it involves no share issuance, so existing holders face no dilution.

CEO Louis Dron highlighted the DTC clearance as a strategic pillar of the company’s capital markets approach, expecting it to boost trading efficiency and liquidity.
